Extension Documentation

These are the currently supported SashXB extensions and locations. Pay particular attention to the NOTEs because they highlight behavior that may be unexpected or unimplemented.

Read here for information on how to use extensions in your weblications and for important comments are reading the documentation.

Many of the SashXB APIs were based on the Sash For Windows APIs. A comparison between the two may help you figure out whether a weblication written on one platform can run on the other platform.

Sash Core

Sash.Core
Sash.Core.Channels: for inter-weblication communication
Sash.Core.Cursor: manipulate the cursor
Sash.Core.Process: start and kill processes
Sash.Core.UI: basic UI input boxes
Sash.Core.Net: open network connections
Sash.Core.Platform: find information about the system you're running on

Sash Linux

Sash.Linux: Linux specific UI boxes (a file dialog and a query dialog)

Locations

Window Application: run an HTML-rendered application in a window
Panel Application: run an application in a small, narrow panel
Console: run an application with either no GUI or a Glade-based GUI

jabber: send instant messages
xml: parse XML documents
vorbis: play ogg vorbis sound files
